Calderdale Recovery Steps Service Manager
About the role…
We are growing due to additional funding from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and are now looking to appoint an experienced, passionate, and visionary Service Manager who will provide clear role modelling and leadership across our teams in line with our organisational ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service delivery. The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary management team and support in project planning, delivery and continuous development of elements of the adult and young people’s treatment system ensuring we deliver our services in a person-centred way.
About you…
The successful candidate will be an effective leader with a proven track record of effective change management, high performance, continued service improvement and innovation. You’ll have worked in substance misuse or another social care field and will have knowledge of substance misuse strategy, practice, guidelines and research and their impact on service delivery and effectiveness. Solution focused, you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver on targets involving staff, service users and partners and working collaboratively across systems to benefit the people we support.

Working in partnership with The Basement Recovery Project across Calderdale, our services, Calderdale Recovery Steps and Branching Out, support adults and young people respectively who are struggling with alcohol and other drugs through dedicated prevention, early intervention, and tailored programmes, supporting people to achieve and sustain recovery. Following a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection these services have been rated Outstanding.
