We are looking for students or those in the early stages of their career to join our Summer Internship Programme 2023 - a 3-month paid Internship between June and September 2023. This is an excellent opportunity to gain relevant work experience through a dynamic, innovative team developing industry-leading medical imaging solutions. We create technology and tools that make a meaningful difference to people's lives; helping doctors to help their patients restore their health and well-being. The work is fast paced and intellectually stimulating.
Several positions are available, working within diverse project teams across our R&D division. Topic areas are:

• Application development
• Artificial Intelligence
• Bioinformatics
• Clinical Research
• Image Analysis
• Software infrastructure
• Visualization and rendering

Applications are welcomed from students of the following disciplines:

• Computer Science / Software Engineering / Informatics
• Mathematics / Physics / Engineering
• Machine Learning / Informatics / Medical Imaging

You should be at the following stage of your studies to apply:

• Third year (entering final year after the summer) or Final year undergraduates on course to achieve 2:1 or higher
• Early-stage postgraduate students (MSc or PhD)
• CodeClan graduate from Data Analysis or Software Development course

You should have some knowledge of writing software. C++, Python, Java, Javascript, C# and MATLAB are relevant useful skills. Additionally, mathematical knowledge is a requisite for any scientific topic.

The placements are planned to commence on Monday 5th June 2023, although there is flexibility in this. The internships will adopt a hybrid working approach between our Edinburgh office and home working.
