Working 37.5 hours a week, you will work alongside the HR Administrator in the day-to-day administration of recruitment, HR compliance, training and various other administration tasks.

Wellesley Hospital is situated in Chelston, near Wellington, Somerset. It consists of 5 wards, 4 of which have 15 beds, the 5th ward having 13 beds. The hospital provides care for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorder in a medium/low secure environment. At Elysium, we want the best for you. As a Training and Recruitment Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the service with their recruitment needs, welcoming new starters to the team, and managing all training administration.

You will be responsible for data analysing and ensuring all compliance documents are acceptable and follow Elysium Healthcare procedures and policy, these include reference, DBS checks, identification, and Right-To-Work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and managing sensitive data both on and off-site
  • Managing a confidential filing system and be able to work in a confidential manner.
  • Undertaking recruitment administrative tasks.
  • Liaising with new starters to arrange inductions
  • Work closely with the training hub to ensure training on site is up to date
  • Create and update HR paper files to ensure they are legally compliant.
  • Show initiative in the absence of the HR Administrator to ensure that urgent matters are addressed.
  • Establish and maintain an effective filing system, to include paper and electronically.
  • To provide a professional and efficient training and development service to all departments within Wellesley Hospital in order to meet the needs of the business.
  • To coordinate all aspects of the training function administration including maintenance of the learning management system data.
  • Producing monthly training reports which provide information, feedback and identified areas requiring improvement.
  • Responding to booking requests and queries and providing guidance and assistance to staff and managers with system navigation.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Recruitment and Training Administration experience
  • 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
  • Experience of working with Senior Management.
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times.
  • Be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be able to prioritise duties and responsibilities and be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • To be flexible and adaptable
  • Have knowledge of working with systems to support HR and Training Departments.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Appreciation of the Data Protection Act Knowledge of training procedures
  • Ability to demonstrate a competent working knowledge of spreadsheet application
