We are looking for a Training Specialist – Sales and Business Development join our Gatwick based team, to conduct informative training sessions, promote company efficiency, and improve the capability and skills of our sales teams, one of the mechanisms is through our Trainee Broker Academy which will launch in October 2022.
As a Trainer you should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences in an engaging and memorable format. You must be highly organised, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills.
In addition, we need to ensure we provide creative and flexible training solutions to fit a 70-20-10 blended approach to learning and embed continuous evaluation and process improvement following our training interventions.
You will:
· Build out and deliver a sales-specific new-hire employee on-boarding program and training program to provide foundational information
· Learn and teach key sales processes and product value positioning
· Attend calls with managers and reps to understand the "field reality" and build enablement deliverables that align with the customer journey
· Act as a sales enablement subject matter expert by staying up to date on current processes, products, platforms, competition as well as sales industry trends
· Carry out training needs analysis and design, develop and deliver tailored development solutions to a wide range of our people and businesses, including accessible content, blended learning and e-learning offers
· Design and deliver accessible, inclusive, and high impact sales development aligned with organisational and individual needs
· Redesign and deliver functional onboarding of new starters, ensuring our ethos is core and the welcome to our business is accessible and inclusive
· Evaluate the effectiveness of all learning interventions by gathering, analysing, and using feedback from participants to suggest recommendations on how to improve and enhance the learner experience
· Ensure all methods of delivery are effective, develop competence, change, or embed behaviour, and deliver a return on investment
· Develop strong internal relationships across the organisation, working collaboratively and proactively with key stakeholders, ensuring they are involved and kept informed of progress on development plans
· Liaise with all relevant business departments (such as People team, Recruitment, Operations, etc.) to ensure effective communication and collaboration result in smooth learning experiences for our people
· Champion excellence in L&D practices, always being innovative and creative with development propositions
What we are looking for:
Essential:
· 3+ years in sales or sales training roles
· Knowledge of sales process and best in-class sales methodologies
· A highly motivated and energetic, self-starter who is well-equipped to motivate and inspire others
· Effective communication and presentation skills with an ability to make complex information simple and easy to understand
· Experience using D365 and / or other sales automation tools
· A demonstrable and successful track record of design, development, and delivery of a range of L&D interventions to agreed timelines and to ensure learning objectives and required standards are met
· An ability to deliver, present and facilitate training interventions across different learning platforms
· Previous experience delivering and evaluating sales training and development
· Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build successful relationships, influence decision making and be comfortable to challenge constructively if needed
· An ability to travel as needed
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable:
· Experience with e-learning systems
· Experience of providing impactful, interactive workshops on virtual platforms, including MS Teams
· CIPD Learning & Development qualification or equivalent
