Ten Live are urgently recruiting for a highly experienced Transport Operator to join one of our Logistics clients in the Springburn area.
The main purpose of the role will be to complete general administrative duties, de-briefing with drivers & supporting with ensuring all aspects of H&S Policies are adhered to at all times.
Duties:
- Answering inbound telephone calls, assisting customers with enquiries, and adhering to depot KPI's
- Assisting drivers with locating addresses and providing delivery instructions
- Assisting customers and providing excellent customer service
- De- brief drivers on performance ( delivery’s and collections ) and challenge any poor performance and apply time scales for improvement
- Ensuring contractor paperwork is completed
- Basic administrative duties
- To implement the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- To implement the Security Policy ensuring and maintaining a secure passage of goods for the customer
- Data entry
- Reporting drivers performance issues and all action taken
- Manage drivers compliance and Daily targets
- KPI reporting
Skills/Certificates/Experience:
- An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
- Experience of working in a transport/logistics environment
- Able to react quickly to information & helping to solve any challenges
- Experience using in-house transport management systems is an advantage

Pay- £25k to £30k per annum depending on experience
