Deliver unforgettable adventures
As a Tailor-Made Travel Consultant with Intrepid you will do that every single day! Working closely with our travellers to provide them exceptional customer service with a focus on maximizing sales of private departures, fully independent travel, and always providing exemplary customer service by phone, email, and live chat.
You will work closely with our destination management network to create amazing itineraries focused on Sustainable Experience Rich Travel for customers, travel agents, and direct partnerships and create beautiful and inspiring final documentation for our clients.
This is a full-time permanent position based that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office (2 days per week) in Brixton.
Your day will vary, but some of the tasks you’ll take the lead on are:

• Maximizing and growing sales, facilitating inbound/outbound sales calls/chats and web inquiries, tracking, and follow-up with sales leads

• Provide exceptional customer service by developing strong relationships to ensure Intrepid is at front-of-mind for potential future travel plans

• Building your product knowledge of Intrepid destinations and products to develop quality itineraries

• Working collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure a smooth client experience and handling complaints/conflict situations when they arise

Some of the experience & skills you’ll bring with you will include:

• Sales and customer service experience

• Travel experience including personal or professional travel to Intrepid destinations and experience building fully independent trips or tailor made itineraries

• The ability to learn new systems efficiently and experience with a GDS or CRM would be advantageous
