We’re looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland team at our busy temperature-controlled site in Warrington. You will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.

You’ll be working any 5 from 7 on permanent night shifts (including weekends), 10pm to 6am.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,000.00 plus £2354.40 night shift allowance. In addition we offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• 
  Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
• Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
• Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team
• Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 
  Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
