Our Client is a leading brand within the field of optical products.
A vacancy has arisen for an Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of accounts in the South Midlands area. The role will be a combination of New Business & Account Management selling into the independent opticians on the area. It is therefore important that candidates have a proven track record in opening up new accounts as well as managing existing business.
Candidates can come from any related category and channel. Whilst a track record of selling to independent opticians would be preferred, our Client is also happy to consider proven salespeople who have sold to independent Pharmacies or Audiologists.
The area in question is known as the south Midlands, Gloucestershire and south Wales area and candidates should live within the following geography; starting at Bromsgrove ( just south of Birmingham ) go east to Warwick then follow the M40 ( in a south westerly direction ) to Oxford, then go due south to Reading. From Reading go due west to Bristol and then continue along the south Welsh coast almost to the most westerly tip ( stopping at around Swansea ), from Swansea go north-east to Hereford, and from Hereford go north east and back to Bromsgrove.
