Data and Research Analyst, Healthcare Real Estate

A fantastic opportunity to work within Knight Frank and our market leading and award-winning Healthcare team at Head Office. Working within this growing team and reporting to the Department Head, you will be responsible for supporting the team with data collection, developing processes, building databases, modelling data and displaying it visually in power bi. Using your pro-active, collaborative and data-led mindset, you will be skilled across the end-to-end data journey, from collection to sense checking and analysing data. This role will predominantly sit within corporate valuations & agency portfolio mandates but will support all areas of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Healthcare team with data collation, developing processes, building relationships and sense checking data.
- Implement the use of power bi and other tools to visualise data and maintain interactive dashboards.
- Support the Valuations team with building valuation spreadsheets and databases.
- Support the Agency team in analysing and modelling data as and when required.
- Developing the expansion of healthcare data collection to new markets and sectors.
- Support development of new healthcare research outputs for new sectors and markets as required
Experience required:
- Degree qualified, with an aptitude for quantitative techniques, an analytical approach to completing assignments and strong attention to detail.
- Proven expert in creating algorithms using data sets, gaining understanding and insight out of data, particularly complex data sets, translating non-technical suggestions into quantitative analysis.
- Excellent English language oral and written skills.
Experience with the following helpful but not required:
- Collating, sorting, storing and sense checking data, including databases
- Using analytical and data presentation software, such as Power BI
- An interest in the healthcare real estate markets and the ability to spot trends.
- Adaptable, with an ability to challenge the status quo and drive efficiencies.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities as required and concurrently manage a diverse range of projects.
- Advanced in Excel (ideally VBA) and proficient in Powerpoint and Word.
- Collaborative and natural networker who is able to build rapport, develop relationships and gain trust with internal and external stakeholders
