Greenhill Alternative Provision are recruiting for a Part Time Cleaner

To be based at Greenhill Site.

15 hrs per week

Grade 1 Actual Salary - £7,058 - £7,217

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools, one primary school, and two alternative provisions, with over 700 employees and over 5,000 students, based in Dudley and Staffordshire in the West Midlands.

Our alternative provision estate supports learners to share the same ethos; young people who are most vulnerable are supported to flourish and experience success. Both Greenhill Alternative Learning Campus in Halesowen and Invictus Revive Learning Centre in Dudley aim to support young people in KS3 and 4 who have been unable to achieve in a mainstream setting.

We are looking for a Cleaner at our Greenhill Campus from January. The hours would be Monday – Friday 6am – 9am. This is term time only, 39 weeks per year

Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties and responsibilities, which include ensuring that the school is cleaned every day to the required standard/specification.

Working safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment and being mindful of hazards to other staff and students. Compliance with the Health and Safety practices of the Trust/School.

You will need to be;

• To be physically fit
• To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance
• Possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job tasks
• Observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.
• Team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour

Previous experience of working in a school or education setting would be desirable but not essential.
