Job Title – Premises Cleaning Operative
Salary - £13 ph
Hours – 3 hrs per week, 1 hr per day on Mon, Wed & Fri - AM
Annual leave – 20 days per year pro rata (plus bank holidays)
Base – Ambleside Ambulance Station
Reporting to – Premises Mobile Area Supervisor
Pension – Auto enrolment
Job Summary
Understanding the challenges that ambulance crews and the emergency services face daily, and the requirements of the job that they are committed to, has helped to evolve the service that our team at JPR Solutions delivers. In this position you will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties that will include dusting, hoovering, emptying bins, cleaning washroom areas and touchpoint cleaning. The types of environments we clean require close attention to detail and adhere to high level specifications.
Job Specific Requirements
· Cleaning NWAS premises to high level specification.
· Areas to be cleaned and maintained include; washrooms, showers, messroom, dusting, hoovering, emptying bins and also touchpoint cleaning.
· Complying with legal requirements, including Legionella sign off.
· Internal audits conducted and information feedback monthly.
· Full uniform provided and to be worn at all times.
· Replenishment of consumables, where required.
· Ad hoc duties to be carried out, as requested.
Person Specification
· Good interpersonal skills, with a professional and polite manner.
· Flexibility with working times, where required.
· Effective communication skills required.
Cleaning experience preferred but full training will be provided
