We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist for a global, industry leading Energy Technology business based in Stonehouse where full training is provided. You will join a close-knit team at their state-of-the-art technology centre where you will be provided with structured a structured development and mentorship plan.
We are looking for someone with a demonstrable passion for HSE. This can be in the form of qualifications, certifications, previous work history/internships, or a module completed during your studies.
Responsibilities:
- Converse with managers and support to maintain relationships between manufacturing and HSE – promoting a positive HSE mindset
- Coordinate and participate in screening and HSE training of personnel, including contractors
- Keep abreast of new documentation and training material related to HSE and inform management accordingly
- Support line management in investigations of failures and accidents
- Maintain a high level of HSE awareness among personnel through communication, training and promoting involvement in HSE programs
Experience & Exposures:
- Ideally you will have a Bachelor’s degree or completed a module in a related field such as Business Management, Occupational Health or Engineering, however this is not essential
- Passion for HSE and desire to enter a career in this field – demonstrable examples would be advantageous
