About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Packaging Controller to join our S&OP Team in either Bristol or Weybridge.

This role is Full-time, Permanent role.

Key responsibilities include:

You will be supporting the S&OP team by providing expert and specialist support to all commercial and operational functions. You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring new packaging and artwork is delivered to agreed, effective performance and quality specifications and in a timely manner.
• Supporting to continuously investigate new ideas and material developments with a view to improving production, trade and retail packaging performance.
• Working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to continually review and optimise packaging and process.
• Working with suppliers on cost reduction and development initiatives.
• Developing rigorous and meaningful packaging specifications and be responsible for their accuracy and data management.

What you'll bring

• This role would suit someone with at least three years’ experience within manufacturing and related processes.
• You will have good attention to detail, be dedicated to providing quality, error free work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• You will have good organisational skills, be able to prioritise and multitask while working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
