Salary: Grade 7 £27,344 - £30,151 FTE

Location: Ansa Environmental Hub, Cledford Lane, Middlewich, CW10 0JR

Hours of work: 37 Hours per week

Due to progression within the company, Ansa are currently recruiting a Parks Strategy and Development Officer join an existing team to support with Park initiatives throughout Cheshire East.

The role will be responsible for:

• Working with the community, friends groups and volunteers to ensure best use of parks and open spaces across Cheshire East
• Maintaining, managing and developing the delivery of high quality, cost effective parks and public open spaces on behalf of Ansa’s clients.
• Coordinating the Green Flag application process
• Supporting the Parks and Recreation Manager in maintaining and producing up to date
• Assist in the implementation of new strategic open space policy documents.
• Support in income generation activities such as events and managing concessions with open spaces

In order to apply for this role, you will need:

• Practical experience in park design and / or management
• Experience in working with volunteer and/or community organisations
• To be able to communicate both verbally and in writing at a level appropriate for the audience.
• Good communication skills

The ability and willingness to work flexibly and be able to travel across the borough as and when required. Are you interested?
