Due to recent Board decisions we are embarking on a phase of significant growth over the next 3-5 years. This includes committed investment in its commercial vehicle sales, service and parts division. The product portfolio includes Maxus and Isuzu brands which are well respected in the market, with an existing loyal customer base. We are looking for a parts and service administrator to join our team to drive and support the anticipated growth.


Main Areas of accountability:

  • To greet customers in a courteous and efficient manner, both in person and by telephone.

  • To maintain reception area to a high standard, ensuring displays, prices etc. are current and correct.

  • To accurately take bookings, to ensure full capacity of workshop.

  • To ensure all workshop invoicing is up to date and work in progress is kept to a minimum.

  • To prepare and present invoices and obtain payment.

  • Maintenance of customer record system and use to follow up customers.

  • To process warranty claims and track progress.

  • To update relevant portals.

  • To accurately receipt parts in, label and locate these in the stores as required

  • Notify suppliers immediately of any damaged parts or short shipments.

  • Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery or collection.

  • Issue parts to the workshop technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly.

  • To prepare and present invoices and obtain payment.

  • Maintenance of customer record system and use to follow up customers.

  • Ensure regular stock takes are carried out and recorded accurately.

  • Assistance with any other task as required


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Attention to detail (essential)

  • Excellent communication skills (essential)

  • IT Skills (essential)

  • Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team (essential)

  • Excellent organisational skills (essential)

  • Vehicle parts and service experience (desirable)

  • Must have valid driving licence
