An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic administrator to join the Pharmacy Team. The successful applicant will provide an administrative and business support service to the Pharmacy Department. This post is critical to the success of a department with a spend of 25m+, dealing with all aspects of medicines across the Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Pharmacist and the senior pharmacy management team and in addition will support the Service Delivery Manager.

The post holder will be highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills and will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have diary management experience, strong IT skills and the ability to develop effective administrative systems.

You will be able to work autonomously and without direct supervision which will enable you to deal with confidential and sensitive information along with the confidence to professionally manage challenging situations with objectivity and sensitivity.

The chosen candidate should be a team player, have a strong work ethic and sense of accountability whilst also supporting the team by assisting with a wide range of tasks.
