Homebased within or close to the North and East Region in the area between Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Burnham-on-Crouch

We are looking for a full-time, home-based Regional Estates Manager to join our North East region. The role comes with a salary of up to £54.6k p/a and the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.

As a Regional Estates Manager, you will report to the RNLI’s Principal Estates Manager based at the Support Centre in Poole, but you will also be part of the Regional Leadership Team as the region’s subject matter expert on the management of our estate.

In your first few weeks in this Regional Estates Manager role, you can expect to:

  • Manage and develop a team of Coastal Estates Managers and act as the primary Estates lead within the North and East region

  • Supervise your team to deliver building inspections, support new construction activity, undertake condition-based maintenance, repairs and compliance checks

  • Prepare and manage the delegated capital expenditure and operational expenditure budgets for the Regional Estate and ensure that the management of the estate is delivered to plan and within budget
  • Give the relevant specialist subject matter expertise / advice when required across all regions and ensure standards are met.

To be considered as the Regional Estates Manager, you will need an engineering, construction or management or other job-relevant degree. The following are also required:

  • A qualification towards a Specialist level of construction knowledge
  • Experience of routine maintenance and inspection
  • Experience building and civil construction and maintenance, ideally in a maritime environment
  • Extensive experience working within a commercial environment, implementing new and innovative processes and procedures.
