We’re currently recruiting a Training Delivery Coach to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment within leadership and management specialising in Blue Light Academy and providing mentoring and support to learners and apprentices, in order to achieve targeted outcome and achievements.


Our successful candidate will be a dedicated resource for a large public sector body, responsible for tutoring, mentoring and coaching learners on a variety of leadership and management programmes. .


In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £25,600 – £32,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Remote working with requirement to travel easily and frequently within the Greater Manchester area or further afield when required
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the induction and training of learners
  • Initially assess prospective candidates for prior learning associated to the programme of learning
  • Provide quality onboarding and induction for learners new to the training programme
  • Support the development of course materials and deliver learning modules
  • Deliver high quality and engaging workshops both virtually and face to face
  • Coach and mentor learners/apprentices from commencement to the end of their programme/apprenticeship
  • Provide constructive feedback on developmental materials via learning management system
  • Monitor learner progress through ongoing milestone and progress reviews
  • Swiftly identify at risk learners and implement clear intervention plans and targets
  • Engage fully with line managers at each point in the learner journey

Skills and Experience

Essential
  • Hold a recognised assessment qualification (for example L3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment, A1/A2, D32/33)
  • Practical/vocational experience in leadership and management
  • Sector competency and experience of delivering leadership and management qualifications and apprenticeships
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant leadership and management regulations and legislation
  • Extensive experience of delivering face to face and virtual development sessions both group and one to one
  • Proven track record of high quality caseload management and achievement
  • Background of supporting learners through qualifications, gateway and successful EPA
  • Experience of utilising e-portfolio and LMS systems
  • Understanding of ESFA compliance and funding rule requirements
  • Good knowledge and experience of Ofsted requirements, inspections and ESFA compliance
  • Up to date and relevant CPD record

Desirable
  • Teaching qualifications
  • Formerly garnered relationships in the relevant sector
  • Functional skills qualifications Maths and English at level 2
