Video Production Coordinator

Based: High Wycombe / Hybrid
Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £25000 - £27500 pa + excellent benefits

The Role:

We're looking for a Video Production Coordinator to work across a range of projects for multiple brands within the music industry. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a creative environment and an interest in music production / audio technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly marketing and content allocation / planning meetings with the wider marketing and creative teams, ensuring everyone is kept up to date with the weeks work and plans.
  • Communicate production plans and schedules to the wider marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the Head of Video, to generate relevant documents for the internal production process.
  • Communicate with external agencies, freelancers, and contractors to assist them on their production work for us.
  • Work with the Head of Video to plan timelines and manage production and post-production from ideation & pre-production to delivery and then localisation for the global teams.
  • Assist in managing sign off and approvals of content with key stakeholders.
  • Keep on top of and update our various project management platforms as the projects develop.
  • Manage and work with the Head of Video on Pre-Production plans / proposals and treatments, communicating creative ideas and presenting information clearly.
  • Be responsible of our in-house camera / production equipment making sure everything is ready to go.
  • To assist on and off set within a production environment.
  • Edit video content, and have a great knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve.
  • Work in After Effects to create graphic assets and animations.
  • Producing video for various platforms for example, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc, and have interest in new developments and innovation in video content.
  • Understand recording, mixing and mastering audio for video.
  • Generate purchase orders and communicate with our finance team to pay our external contractors / freelancers on time.
  • Support the Head of Video with larger and more demanding projects as a Production Coordinator.
  • Manage our Dropbox Team accounts and our in-house NAS storage, keeping all files backed up and safe.

The person we’re looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Production Coordinator or an Assistant within a creative environment.
  • Familiarity using and working with filming equipment and the post-production procedures.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in-house or an agency with knowledge of the production workflow.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and demonstrate initiative.
  • A flexible and creative attitude with the ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure.
  • A reasonable understanding of audio capture and sound quality control.
  • An ability to handle pressure when working in a team or on your own.
  • Understand live streaming equipment and rigging a small live streaming system.
  • A passion and understanding for the recording and music technology world.
