Warehouse Operative – Lloyd Ltd Carlisle

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy Parts Department at Lloyd Ltd Carlisle.

Job Role

As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for sorting, packing and dispatching parcels. As part of the role, the successful candidate will unbox parts, allocate them on our systems and correctly store them in our large warehouse. Working in a busy team, you will play a key behind the scenes role to accurately record details of all deliveries and dispatches to and from the branch.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for general housekeeping duties within the department and ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Job Criteria

• Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided)
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to be pro-active and use initiative
• A good team working ethos, with the ability to work alone when required
• Strong organisation skills
• Good IT understanding

Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours – 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis with additional overtime available.
