Location: Flexible within South Wales (office base in either Cardiff, Resolven or Llandarcy). Travel to Swansea and Cardiff for workshops and meetings is required.

Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing team in the Corporate Strategy & Development Directorate, focusing on Organisation Development.
You will provide the highest level of professional administrative support to the Head of Organisational Development to enable optimum use of their time and allow them to perform their duties in a timely and effective manner. The role will also require you to work across the Organisational Development Team to provide administrative support to your colleagues, to ensure the Team is resilient, flexible and working effectively and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Arranging meetings, events and training workshops including venue, agenda, refreshments, logistics and attendance records
- Booking accommodation for delegates when required
- Taking accurate minutes in a range of meetings
- Providing training and Induction administrative support including delegate management and production of evaluation and attendance reports
- Raising purchase orders following our procurement procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite of programmes – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths (minimum grade C) Or NVQ Level 2 in Administration or other equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of NRW, its functions and how the organisation operates (desirable)
- Relevant experience of working in an administrative role supporting senior level managers and stakeholders, including experience of dealing with sensitive matters
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels
- Accurate written skills
