Job Description
Home is at the heart of our Group Strategy. We’re looking for people who will play a key role in delighting our customers throughout their home journeys and protecting what’s important to them.
You’ll become a certified adviser who uses specialist Mortgage and regulatory knowledge to help our customers with their Mortgage and Protection needs. Initially you’ll be based in our office in Sheffield, but once you're fully competent you could also enjoy a hybrid role - split between home and office, so you’ll have a great work/life balance.
What we’re looking for...
  • CeMAP (Certification in Mortgage Advice and Practice) to Level 3.
  • Passionate colleagues that deliver an excellent customer experience alongside expert advice.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring all regulatory and service standards are followed and that customer needs are dealt with compliantly.
  • Proactive in engaging with colleagues in your team and local area, working collaboratively to resolve customer problems and identify new opportunities.

About the Role
As a certified colleague your details will be published on the FCA’s Financial Services Register
Due to the nature of the role candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting and annual recertification.
Working patterns for these roles will be discussed during the recruitment process. Hours are flexible between 8am and 10pm on a rotating shift pattern. This will include weekend working. We value your flexibility and will do our best to facilitate working hours that are suitable to you, whilst meeting the needs of our customers. This will include some evening and weekend working.

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks
